To spread the joy of reading, the 10th Bookaro Festival in Delhi shall be held on 25th and 26th November at the Children’s Park, India Gate. 

What Is It?

Bookaroo Children’s Literature Festival – organised by Delhi-based Bookaroo Trust – is India’s first literature festival of its kind. Initially, it started off in 9 cities, but as a solo festival, it is only happening in Delhi. This year would be the 10th edition of the festival being conducted at the Children’s Park, India Gate and it will be held on 25th and 26th November.

What’s In It?

The Bookaro festival lets you experience authors, illustrators, storytellers and audiences together to inspire each other and to be inspired, to share stories and experiences, and make books come alive for children. Along with that, there are various other activities like dramatized reading and theater, non-stop storytelling for younger children, book launches, craft activities, art and illustration workshops, environment-related workshops and nature walks, poetry sessions, and storytelling through puppet shows.

The Bookaro festival is mainly aimed at expanding a child’s imagination and reading capabilities. It will be accompanied by guest speakers and lots of fun sessions for the kids. It will give the children an opportunity to explore new stories from across the globe and open up to new experiences.
