Most places in India are reporting a noticeable dip in mercury and the weather will get colder in the next couple of weeks. Mount Abu & Delhi Weather Updates
Are you travelling to Mount Abu in the next few days? Don’t forget to pack your sweaters, thermals, and all things warm. The scenic hill station reported a minimum temperature of 1.4°C on Saturday. Recent snowfall turned this picturesque destination into a winter wonderland. According to a report by The Times of India, the Rajasthan government issued travel advisories for the cold weather conditions.
Delhiites and folks in nearby areas are shivering due to a plunge in temperature. On Wednesday morning, the temperature decreased to 5°C. A major concern here is dense sheets of fog surrounding the city. People are facing issues due to poor visibility.
Odisha & Guwahati Weather Updates
Odisha transformed into a pristine white paradise recently after experiencing snowfall. Mayurbhanj and Sundergarh districts witnessed snow-clad surroundings making it a delightful experience for locals and tourists. The temperature plummeted to 3°C on Sunday, a rare sight in Odisha. Just a few days ago, the India Meteorological Department issued a yellow warning for a cold wave here.
Folks in Guwahati woke up to a chilly morning. As per the India Meteorological Department, the minimum and maximum temperatures on December 18 are 11°C and 26°C. The Air Quality Index stands at 93.
Weather Predictions About South India
Bengalurueans experienced a colder weekend as the temperatures dropped quite noticeably in different areas across the city. Starting at 8:30 AM on December 16 to the same time the next day, the temperature touched a low of 12.2°C in Hemmigepura and Uttarahalli. The chilly weather is likely to continue citywide till December 20. Weather updates stated that the Karnataka capital is expected to receive light rainfall on Thursday and Friday.
Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Rayalaseema are likely to receive heavy rainfall on December 18 and 19. Puducherry’s weather may turn similar till December 20.
