Mumbai recently saw one of the worst floods ever. Mumbaikars had to deal with all the scenarios they’d been dreading. Public transport came to a standstill, roads and tracks were flooded and many were stranded on their journey to or from work. Visuals of a flooded Mumbai went viral on social media. Someone shared a video which showed a flooded train track. The surprising part was that there were fish swimming in the water!

On Monday, 8 July 2024, the financial capital of the country experienced one of the worst floods of the season. The local trains, which are often dubbed the lifeline of the city, came to a standstill as the tracks were severely flooded.

Many people shared pictures and videos of the flooded tracks. Someone took to Reddit and shared a similar video. What drew people to the video was that there were fish swimming in the flooded tracks! This delighted many people who saw the video.

They took to the comment section to make jokes and express their delight. Others expressed their horror and concern over the fact that they might die if a train passes or if the water dries.
