If you’re surrounded by good looks and good food, you’re probably in Iran! There are entire tales written about Persian food and boy, is it justified. Luckily, you don’t have to travel all the way to Persia to taste great Parsi food. Just head to Britannia’s – one of the oldest Irani restaurants in Mumbai or you could also try out other recommendations!
1. Britannia & Co
A legend in itself and one of the oldest restaurants in Mumbai, Britannia with its stone walls and minimal décor is the perfect no-fuss meal. There’s something beautifully rustic and almost ancient about sitting and eating in Britannia’s. Compared to its Irani counterparts with similar décor and heritage, Britannia is a tad bit expensive.

4. Kyani & Co.
This place has so many memories for me that I can write an entire essay on it. The uncle sitting at the cash counter is as much a fixture as the restaurant itself. He doesn’t allow laptops and he doesn’t like you dilly-dallying with your food. The staff has been working at the place for an average of 40 years. Despite all these restrictions, Kyani’s is just where you’d like to go to for a chai or a meal or even a (really) quick catch-up with your friends.
