Liquor, Dishes, Snacks & Cigarettes Offered In This Ujjain Temple
The temple, located in Madhya Pradesh, is the Kal Bhairava Temple. This Ujjain temple stands out for its offerings to please Lord Bhairavnath. A few of the offerings which were given to God include 1,351 types of dishes alone, 64 types of chocolates, 55 types of sweets, 56 types of snacks, 60 types of Gujarati snacks, 45 types of biscuits, 30 varieties of Gajak, 28 varieties of soft drinks, different types of fruits, 40 types of bakery foods, and lastly, 40 types of alcohol, starting from rum, whiskey to tequila and vodka.
Well, the prasad also included cannabis. Definitely, a feast was offered to please and worship Lord Bhairavnath in this Ujjain Temple. This left was stunned. These offerings and prasad were later distributed on Thursday after the Bhairav Asthami rituals.
Other Spiritual Places In Ujjain
Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple is another significant temple in Ujjain that attracts a large number of pilgrims every year. This is one of the significant Shiv temples in the country and one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. It is believed that this jyotirlinga emerged on it own. Mahakalesvara, Omkaresvara and Nagachandresvara reside in the three floors of this historic temple. The architecture of this Ujjain temple is a mix between the Bhumija, Chalukya and Maratha styles. In recent years, the temple has also had a gold covering on the top.
