Why are food poisoning incidents on an alarming rise? We often read reports stating that people fell sick after eating food at a local restaurant. However, things worsened extremely this time. A teen girl lost her life after eating at a restaurant in Telangana’s Nirmal district. People are frightened and worrisome news like this scares foodies while visiting any eatery or food joint.
Customers Suffered From Food Poisoning After Eating At A Restaurant In The Nirmal District
As per several reports, a 19-year-old woman died after suffering from food poisoning. Identified as Phool Kali Baiga, she and her colleagues visited Grill Nine Multi-Cuisine Restaurant in the Nirmal district, according to a report by The Hindu. She was from Madhya Pradesh’s Majhauli and worked as a kitchen staff at St. Thomas High School in the Adilabad district.
She visited Nirmal with four teachers from her school. Phool Kali Baiga travelled with her school’s Principal Smitha George, Vice-Principal Deepak Kurian, and teachers Sofi George and Siji Kurian. On November 2, she headed out to have lunch with her colleagues. They went to Grill Nine Multi-Cuisine Restaurant and placed an order for Chicken 65, Chicken Fried Rice, and Tandoori Chicken.
The group of five and other customers of this restaurant fell terribly ill that night. From vomiting to nausea to stomach pain, they suffered from several symptoms. Their health conditions deteriorated so harshly that everyone had to be rushed to a hospital the next morning. They visited the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Boath on November 3. Even after getting treatment, they continued to fall ill even on the next couple of days and had to re-visit the hospital.

More About The Shocking Incident
All patients had to seek medical treatment on November 4 and 5 as they kept facing symptoms. Unfortunately, the 19-year-old girl’s health condition worsened over time. She continued suffering from extreme stomach ache and vomited severely. Though doctors were treating her, she could not make it and died on November 5.
School principal Principal Smitha George filed a complaint at the Boath police station. A zero FIR was registered.
