The passengers arrived at Varanasi Airport as early as 1 AM, only to be informed at the last moment that their flight had been cancelled. The lack of prior notice and communication from the airline further aggravated the situation, causing significant distress among those affected. As the hours passed and no resolution appeared, some passengers sought external help.

In a bid to find a solution, a few passengers reached out to Murlidhar Mohol, Pune MP and Minister of State for Civil Aviation. Recognising the urgency of the situation, Mohol promptly intervened.
