1. Over 1 M People Visited Louvre Abu Dhabi In 2023
It was recently revealed that the Louvre Abu Dhabi received more than 1.2 million visitors in 2023. Yes, this is a significant increase as compared to the 2022 figure, which was at 622,399. In fact, UAE residents made up 28 per cent of the visitor’s footfall. Moreover, the remaining 72 per cent included international tourists!
2. Dubai RTA Awards Contract For Improving 22 Bus Stations
It was recently mentioned that Dubai’s RTA has awarded a number of contracts under a three-year plan. This is for improving 22 bus stations and depots. Moreover, the project scope also covers carrying out infrastructural works on buildings, passenger waiting terminals, driver service offices, providing comprehensive passenger facilities, engine maintenance workshops, bus overnight parking spaces, and dedicated bus inspections & maintenance bays. The aim is to introduce a new, holistic service experience.
3. Enjoy Iftar Onboard With Dubai Ferry This Ramadan
This Ramadan, you’re in for a fun-filled time aboard the Dubai Ferry. Well, according to a report by the Dubai RTA, it was revealed that one can enjoy Idtar onboard. Moreover, they can enjoy fun-filled activities like cruising to create unforgettable city memories in Dubai’s waters.

4. Abdul Rahim Al Zarooni Announces AED150 M Donation
Recently Abdul Rahim Al Zarooni announced an AED150 million donation for establishing an endowment medical complex. In fact, it happened in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He is the Crown Prince of Dubai and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.
5. Dubai Municipality Showcases Seats & Tables Made From Recycled Plastic Bottles
The Dubai Municipality recently showcased seats and tables for children. These were made from recycled plastic bottles at the Children’s City. These were collected by visitors and employees and were a part of the ‘Challenge to Collect 3 Million Plastic Bottles’ initiative. As it happens, this was launched in collaboration with ‘Rebound’ company!
