The man survived the accident and is undergoing intensive therapy.

The man, whose name is Rafael dos Santos Tosta, was extremely happy on the day of his accident. He was excited to experience the thrill of Bridge Swinging. Before jumping to his unfortunate accident, he even joked to his cousin, who had accompanied him on the trip, that maybe the rope wouldn’t be able to take his weight.
The next thing he remembered was waking up in the water with people around him telling him not to move. He even remembers experiencing a horrible pain when he tried to stand. A pain that he called the worst in his life so far. It turned out that he had sustained severe injuries to his face and back and had fractured his spine and neck.
