The Bengaluru Tech Summit has left the people in the city in awe with the many displays of cutting-edge technology during the event. Among them all, the one that stood out was the futuristic jet suit worn by the 23-year-old Issa Kalfon as he flew through the summit campus. Flying Man At Bengaluru Tech Summit

If you’re a Marvel fan, then you must have seen Iron Man dressing up in his suit and flying around with the in-built jets. Well, Bengaluru saw a similar sight at the Bengaluru Tech Summit recently. On the inaugural day of the summit, which is on till November 21, a futuristic jet suit designed by Gravity Industries left everyone mesmerised.

As per Times Now News, UK-based Issa Kalfon left the spectators in awe as he flew through the campus wearing a jet suit powered by seven mini jet engines. Also known as the “flying man,” Issa had two jets on each arm and three on his back. These jets run on jet fuel and air and allow people to hover above the ground for almost seven hours.

Among the many spectators of this jet suit display were Karnataka’s Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar.

How Does The Flying Suit Work?

Issa Kalfon has been flying professionally for three years now. As per Times Now News, the jet suit was unveiled by Gravity Industries in 2017 and is flown around and guided with the help of a handheld remote control. The jet suit’s engines are quite powerful producing 1,000 horsepower and can reach a speed of over 136 kmph. It can also fly as high as 12,000 feet. According to Issa, the suit is designed for a range of purposes like search and rescue, entertainment, and extreme sports.
