What Is It?

Located in the village of Alamgir which is around 10 km from the city of Ludhiana, this gurudwara highlights the significant importance of the historical background of Sikhism. The beautiful Gurudwara reflects a landmark in the life of the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh.

What’s In It?

The Guru Gobind Singh was pursued by the Mughal Army, and it was at this place where he paused and rested. The langar hall of this Gurudwara is known to be among the biggest langar halls of all the Sikh shrines with the capacity to serve hundreds of people for free in one go.

The langar at this Gurudwara is top notch, keeping in mind the hygiene. It serves as a major tourist destination now and is amongst the most popular pilgrimage site.
