Devotees from different parts of India and international countries continue to travel to Ayodhya to visit the iconic Ram Mandir and offer prayers to Ram Lalla. Since the temple’s inauguration, there has been a significant rise in visitors here. More than 250 devotees are excitedly waiting to visit Ram Mandir soon. From Nepal, they will travel all the way to Ayodhya for the Tilakotsav ceremony.
Devotees Will Celebrate Tilakotsav Ceremony At Ram Mandir On November 18
The temple committee has started working on making the grandest arrangements for the first Tilakotsav ceremony at the temple to be celebrated on November 18, according to a report by India Today. About 251 devotees from Nepal’s Janakpur are all set to visit Ram Mandir for the glorious ceremony.
We all know that Janakpur is the birthplace of Maa Sita. Tilakhars travelling from Janakpur will arrive in Ayodhya with tilak. They will bring it, especially for the idol of Ram Lalla worshipped here. Also, seers from Janakpur will visit Ayodhya to attend the joyous festivities. They will arrive here on November 17 and bring beautiful presents as well. From dry fruits to beautiful jewellery to new clothes, they will bring a range of magnificent gifts from Nepal to offer to Ram Lalla, as shared by Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Trust’s sources.
Following the splendid festivities of the Tilakotsav ceremony at Ram Mandir on November 18, seers will head back to Janakpur. They will travel there to celebrate the auspicious wedding of Lord Ram and Maa Sita. Seers will travel there on November 26. In 2024, the date of Lord Ram and Maa Sita’s marriage is December 9.

Right now, Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir and Janakpur’s Janaki Mandir are preparing for the Tilakostav ceremony. The temple committees and concerned teams have begun to take the necessary steps way ahead of time to celebrate the festivities perfectly and hassle-free.
The Ram Mandir committee has invited Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to attend the ceremony. Manoj Kumar Sah, Mayor of Janakpur, will be present here.
