Around 28 roads in Dubai have been renamed, which also includes the Dubai Sheikh Zayed Road neighbourhood. Yes, it has been renamed after the world’s tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa. In fact, several notable roads have been renamed under the new naming scheme that is being followed in Dubai.
28 Roads Renamed In Dubai
In a report by Khaleej Times, it was mentioned that 28 roads have been named by the Dubai Land Department. Among this, a list of names also includes the names of prominent roads, like the Dubai Sheikh Zayed Road, which is home to several buildings. Yes, these include apartments, hotel apartments, rooms, and offices. It has now been renamed.

It Was Previously Announced That New Names Were To Be Assigned
This development comes after recently it was announced that a new mechanism will be followed for naming the roads. The announcement was made the previous week by the Dubai RTA on its official account on X. Yes. and looking at the first initiative, Al Khwaneej 2 area given names were inspired by local trees and flowers.
