Internet’s favourite gastroenterologist and content creator Dr. Pal Manickam’s latest reel is specifically directed to all bubble tea lovers. In his reel, Dr. Pal informs that traditional bubble tea is made with tea. However, the bubble tea sold these days is made with sugar syrup. It’s high in carbs but low in nutritional value.

Moreover, the tapioca pearls are cooked in sugar syrup which is again harmful to one’s health. So, Dr. Pal’s first tip for bubble tea lovers would be to ask for less sugar in bubble tea. The second tip is to choose aloe vera pearls or fruit jellies instead of tapioca pearls for a lower-calorie option.
