The 30BestBarsIndia 2024 list has set the bar high with its fifth edition with a thrilling mix of established icons and exciting newcomers that continue to shape India’s vibrant bar culture. The much-anticipated ceremony, held at the Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage, celebrated the country’s best bars, and it was a night to remember as Lair in New Delhi won the coveted title of India’s Best Bar for 2024. This year’s rankings were curated by a national jury of 275 bar enthusiasts, industry influencers, and hospitality experts. And for the first time, 10 new bars entered the elite Top 30 list. 30BestBarsIndia 2024 Highlights A New Era For Bars In India

The 2024 list of winners represents the vibrant and competitive nature of the Indian bar scene. Among the top honourees, Lair stands out for its innovation, with its carefully curated cocktail menu and standout bartending skills. However, there was a lot of competition, and two new and exciting entries from Bangalore made history: Soka at number three and Bar Spirit Forward at number two. These two bars emerged as key players in the country’s cocktail culture. Bar Spirit Forward also took home multiple awards, including Best Independent Bar and Highest New Entry. 

With Lair at the top, Sidecar in New Delhi and Hideaway in Goa are still pillars of the Indian bar scene. ZLB23 at The Leela Palace in Bangalore, Cobbler & Crew in Pune, and Americano in Mumbai also earned their spots. In New Delhi, HOME and PCO both made it to the Top 10, highlighting Delhi’s dominance. Comorin in Gurgaon also made history by winning the Best Restaurant Bar Award for the fourth consecutive year.

There were ten new additions to the Top 30 list in the 2024 edition. Muro in Bangalore, AER Lounge in Mumbai, and Grumps in Goa made a strong debut. This new talent is certainly adding to the excitement, with more cities like Hyderabad and Kerala gaining recognition for their emerging bar cultures.
