In the city of Bengaluru, a mysterious vanishing act has left both friends and authorities puzzled. A 31-year-old hairdresser, Yogeshkumar Rojana, who had travelled from New Delhi to Bengaluru for a job opportunity at a salon, has mysteriously gone missing from the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA). A friend of Rojana filed a First Information Report (FIR) at the airport police station on Sunday evening, raising concerns about his unexplained disappearance.

Yogeshkumar Rojana had arrived at Terminal 1 of the airport via an Indigo flight on September 15, all set to begin his new role at a salon in Kamannahalli, where his friend Anees was already employed. Rojana, originally from Delhi and a father of two young children, had decided to make the move to Bengaluru in pursuit of better earnings. It was Anees who had recommended him for the job to his salon owner, who agreed to hire Rojana.

As per the reports from The New Indian Express, Anees shared that Rojana had previously worked as a hairdresser in Bengaluru for three years before returning to Delhi to open his own salon. However, he was dissatisfied with his earnings in Delhi, which prompted his return to Bengaluru to work at Anees’ salon.

Anees recalled that Rojana appeared mentally distressed about accepting the new role. He said he was reluctant to start the job when he met him on Friday at the airport. He even spoke to his wife, who decided to arrange for the purchase of his return flight to Delhi. She made a reservation for a flight on Akasa Air for the morning of September 16 because none were immediately available.  However, Rojana never boarded the flight to Delhi as scheduled. This raised concerns among his family and friends, leading his wife to contact Anees for assistance in locating him.

As per The New Indian Express reports, Anees tried calling his phone several times, but it was off each time. On September 17, he requested assistance from airport authorities and filed a FIR under the heading “Man Missing.” Earlier that day, when the police tracked his phone and discovered it abandoned at a location about 20 kilometres from the airport, he had already approached them.

Currently, there are suspicions that Rojana may have left the airport and could be somewhere within Bengaluru. Investigations are ongoing to trace his whereabouts and ensure his well-being.
