North Central Railway Suspends 32 Trains
The North Central Railway has announced the suspension of 32 trains that are running between the two destinations for track maintenance work on the Ganga Bridge. As revealed by IndiaTV, these trains are suspended till March 30. Yes, they will be running between Kanpur and Lucknow, and due to track maintenance work on the Ganga Bridge, the decision was made. These are essential track works on the Ganga Bridge and several others have also been diverted as a result. As part of the ongoing maintenance work of the Ganga Bridge, which connects Kanpur and Lucknow, there is a significant destruction to train services.

These Will Be Between Kanupur And Lucknow
This work is absolutely necessary as it will improve the rail infrastructure and even ensure smoother train operations. Once done, it will ensure that the train can move smoothly in the future. It’s worth mentioning that due to the closure, passengers might face several difficulties in their travel plans. This can especially affect those people who are returning after celebrating Holi in their hometown. It’s worth mentioning that this disruption will impact 74 trains. Yes, it includes major ones like the Jhansi, Mumbai, Pune, Neilanchal, Gorakhpur, and Shatabdi Express trains. Many routes have been redirected as a result of the ongoing work.
The track work is being done to speed up the movement of trains once these repairs are complete. However, the Lucknow-Kanpur Central MEMU will remain cancelled from March 20 to May 1. So, if you are someone who is planning to travel on this route in the coming days, you might want to keep this development in mind.
