Yes, Noor Riyadh has set 12 new Guinness world records, as a result, bringing the total to a record, breaking 16 achievements!
Noor Riyadh Sets Two New Guinness World Records
As reported by the Saudi Press Agency, it was mentioned that the Noor Riyadh Light Festival has won two new Guinness world records with its exhibition this year. The first one is for ‘the Longest Distance Covered by a Laser Light in a Laser Show’. And the second record was for the ‘Largest Illuminated Recyclable Material Sculpture of a Pyramid’.
Coming to the installations, the first one featured four beams that were extending across Riyadh. In fact, they were even visible against the bright city lights and the laser encoded ‘Salaam,’ which means ‘peace’ in Arabic in Morse code. The other installation called ‘The Fifth Pyramid,’ set the record with its height of a whopping 28 m. The structure was made from sustainable materials, which included everything from scaffolding to green petrochemical shipping pallets. Featuring a striking fuchsia-lit central walkway, this was a symbolic showcase of Saudi Arabia’s transformation into a hub of creativity.
