In fact, many are preferring countries like Switzerland, Italy, Latvia, Germany, and Budapest. Yes, residents are increasingly preferring destinations that have a cooler climate and are known for iconic landmarks. Not to mention, if they offer cultural experiences, it’s certainly a bonus! Not just Europe but Japan, which is located in the far East, is also gaining a lot of traction when it comes to dream destinations.
The report mentions how travel experts have revealed that most people want to vacation for eight to ten days. They are holidaying for this many days so that they can explore more than one city and make the most out of their journey! Affordable travel getaways in Asia are also quite in demand! Popular destinations like Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bali, and Malaysia continue to be a favourite amongst families who want a mix of beach culture, vibrancy, affordable luxury, and are looking for family-friendly attractions.

However, coming back to the European travel, another big reason that has been noted towards Switzerland and Latvia are top choices amongst UAE residents is their visa process. Yes, due to the smooth visa process and itinerary, our value for money, about 35 to 40% of the bookings for this country! However, nearly 60% of the bookings are for families, while so women’s trips account for about a 15% increase as compared to the previous year. Although solar travel remains popular, there has certainly been a rise in group tours by 10%.
