1.Jamarik-1968
Jamarik is one of the oldest eateries in the city. It opened in 1968 and is still operational in Bur Dubai’s Meena Bazaar neighbourhood. Before the UAE was united, the restaurant resided inside the Dubai Customs building. The current proprietor of the restaurant is Rashid, a native of Kerala. The restaurant initially opened to feed Dubai Customs employees. The place serves fast food and the best Kerala dishes to savour.
The cafeteria afterwards relocated to the Meena Bazaar area, where it has resided for the past 45 years. Rashid replaced a relative who was leaving Dubai and took over the eatery.

2.Karachi Darbar-1973
What began as a modest business in the Deira byways has grown into a franchise of 28 restaurants that targets the middle-class population with its excellent but reasonably priced cuisine.
