We decided to do a round up of the best pocket-friendly places under ₹1000 around Delhi for a quick weekend getaway.
1. The Cloudberry Shimla, ₹ 650 per head
Cloudberry Shimla is a cosy 2bhk in Mashobra, around 20 minutes from Shimla. Mashobra is a 20 minutes drive from the Shimla and just after a 20 minutes drive you are surrounded by clear view of the hills. This apartment is on a hilltop, so you get an uninterrupted view of the rolling hills from all the rooms of this apartment. 2. Himalaya Retreat, Manali, ₹ 700 per head
Perched on a hill the entire facade of Himalaya Retreat overlooks the valley. Natural Beauty comes at a price but not that steep a price, although what’s steep here is the climb to this surreal bungalow! The vehicles can go only up till a certain point after which you will have to walk to reach here. The unique feature about this retreat is it’s location. You will have to walk through the apple orchards and past the waterfalls to reach this beautiful property. It’s a 50 minute climb but after that there’s only beauty and more beauty. It’s ideal for trekkers and if you love nature walks! The overall price comes down to Rs 2800 for a bunch of four. So individually you just spend ₹700 for this massive house and that gorgeous view!

3. The Rink Pavilion, Mussorie, ₹ 950 per head
A boutique hotel with luxurious rooms it’s located on Camel’s Back Road. Tucked away from the bustle of the mall road but still at stone’s throw distance from the mall road. Now this one has a bit of history to it. The Rink Pavilion was built in the 19th century as a theater which was also used for the purpose of a ballroom and a skating rink for the British in India. It is said that back in the British era , this place hosted a number of fashion shows, ball parties and boxing matches. Basically, the colonial charm of the Rink Pavilion stands out as the USP of this property. When you get here, the pavilion will take you on a journey down the memory lane. Now this one will cost you a total of 1900 for a room per night , so if you are two in number then it comes down way too cheap for this luxury in exchange- ₹ 950 per head.

4. Aloha On The Ganges, Rishikesh, ₹750 per head
Now this is literally on the Ganges! It’s a sprawling property. There’s a pool within this property and it located at one of the rafting points. Ram Jhula , the main tourist attraction point in Rishikesh is just 1 km away from here. So you can actually walk to the jhula in the evening . And the best part is yet to come- you have a private access to white sand beach within the property! What we are saying is that the property itself is a holiday destination in itself . So you can just stay indoors and get lost in the magnificence of the Ganges & the white sand here. They also arrange nature walk tours in the morning which you can sign up for!
