However, this numbingly frosty valley is quite popular among tourists. Drass village attracts numerous tourists every year. The snow-laden peaks, mesmerizing ridges, and fresh air, make the valley every adventurer’s dream! Zoji La Pass is one of the main tourist attractions of the valley.

The most attractive spot in this village is the 18th-century Rangdum Monastery. Apart from its spectacularly beautiful landscape, the village also serves as an important trekking base.

The quaint Sangra village in Sanku, Kargil, is one of the remotest villages in the Union Territory Of Ladakh. Being one of the lesser-known villages in Kargil, Sangra still remains unhindered by modernisation. Kargil is the nearest town to Sangra for all major activities and is approximately 40km away.
