dubai hills

Until recently, the only options for good meals in Dubai Hills Estate were the Dubai Hills Golf Club or the quick food at the gas station. However, particularly since Dubai Hills Mall opened in February, the neighbourhood has seen a steady stream of new restaurant openings, rapidly becoming a destination of choice for gourmands. 5 Restaurants You Need To Visit In The Dubai Hills

1. Vietnamese Foodies

Vietnamese Foodies, a cosy, home-grown restaurant founded by Lily Hoa Nguyen in JLT and now with five locations in Dubai, is one of the newest eateries to launch in Dubai Hills Mall.

The main menu has a wide variety of dishes, from pho and banh mi to summer rolls and satay skewers. This is the first location of its kind, with both an in-house coffee shop and a takeout window, with seating for up to 60 customers.

2. Eataly

Since its 2007 debut in Turin, Eataly has made it its mission to showcase authentic Italian cuisine and premium Italian products. The Dubai Hills Mall location, which first welcomed customers in early August, is a bright and airy supermarket and restaurant where you can either pick up ingredients to cook at home or have a meal prepared by the in-house chefs.

The large menu features traditional Italian fare, including a wide selection of bruschetta, spaghetti, risotto, pizza, salads, and real Italian desserts.

3. Mitts and Trays

Mitts & Trays is another relatively new restaurant option for mall goers. Once located on City Walk, the restaurant’s original location has relocated to Bluewaters Island. It’s a classy eatery prides itself on its “oven-to-table, kitchen-to-living-room type cuisine” of healthy fare.

Eggs Benedict, calamari, and braised short ribs are menu staples at this diner. You may get a wide variety of ethnic flavours, from morning Khaleeji balaleet to Wagyu quesadillas inspired by Mexican cuisine and butter chicken masala from India.

4. Akiba Dori

The Dubai Hills Mall location of Akiba Dori is the chain’s fourth UAE. The neon-lit archways and vibrant colours make it impossible to overlook these establishments.

Conveniently located near the soon-to-open Roxy Cinemas, this restaurant serves all of your favourites and is known for its famous Neapolitan pizza made in the Tokyo style. Breakfast items and a children’s menu are among the new additions. Also included is a milkshake stand.

5. Hillhouse Brasserie

Weekend brunch at the Dubai Hills Golf Club, which is quite popular with families from all across the city, was suspended during the epidemic. It has plenty of room within, and it also has a beautiful patio with views of the lush greens outside.

They now have weekend roasts and a special for the women on Friday nights. The a la carte menu is available seven days a week. It features various world cuisines, from chilli crab and Cajun crumpets to cauliflower pakoras and chicken souvlaki. Vegetarians and vegans may also enjoy a variety of plant-based dishes.
