Laxman Vithu & Deubai Patil built the temple to bless every barren women with a child. The mouse (mushak) in the temple is said to grant wishes that are whispered in its ear. The idol of Lord Ganesha is carved out of a single black stone. It also has Ganesha’s trunk to the right instead of left.
