Farzi Cafe is one of Dubai’s most popular gourmet diners & we definitely recommend a visit.
What Is It?
This compact restaurant in City Walk dishes out some impressive gourmet bites with the aim of bringing Indian cuisine back “in-vogue”. Sit back & enjoy a sensory explosion of taste and creative art on a plate or in a mini telephone booth or even in a smoking glass jar. Practically all their food is delicious and exciting but here are 5 of our picks.

1. Dal Chawal Arancini
Don’t underestimate the power of these humble balls. The Dal Chawal Arancini – AED 31 is lentil risotto combined with crispy rice balls drizzled with coriander chutney and achari mayo topped with mini papad. We ended up fighting for the last bite.
2. Tempura Dynamite Prawns
Don’t worry, the foam on top isn’t from the handwash. These batter fried prawns are tossed in chili mayo & topped with lemon & chili foam & tobanjan tobiko at AED 49. (Yummers)

Paneer lovers take note! This bite-sized tart is so easy to gobble up that you’re going to want to keep count if you’re watching your calorie count. Enjoy fresh cottage cheese scrambled to perfection, encased in a tart at AED 33.
4. Wild Mushroom Risotto
Some would say – truffle is life! We kinda do too! This bowl of wild mushrooms is dressed in truffle oil & topped with parmesan crisps at AED 43. What else? It’s served in a jar that’s going to be smoking with no harmful fumes, while you enjoy your shrooms.
5. Rasmalai Tres Leches
Now there are many more amazing desserts on the menu but who can resist Rasmalai? Not us for sure. Especially when it’s topped with carrot cream and dressed with Rose Petals at AED 38! (Maar Daalaaa)
