5 Travel Checklist Essentials For Solo Female Travellers

Solo travelling is liberating and teaches you a lot, but most importantly, it lets you live life. Especially if you are a solo female traveller, it lets you break boundaries, choose things for yourself, and breathe freely. With that said, if you are a female traveller and are planning to take your first solo trip soon, here are five travel checklists that are a must for you.

Travel Checklist Essentials You Must Keep In Mind

1. Research, Plan & Inform

When you plan to take a solo trip, ensure that research the place thoroughly, have enough information, talk to people who have been there, and only then plan the trip. And once you have crossed the researching and planning stage, inform your parents, share your itinerary with them and make sure that everyone is on the same page as you.

2. Pack Comfy Clothes & Shoes

You are going solo on this trip, and while looking your absolute best is important, comfort is equally important. So don’t forget to carry comfortable weather-appropriate clothes and a good pair of shoes. If you are planning a winter trip, good jackets, caps, etc., are a must. For summers, don’t forget your sunscreen. So before packing your bags, list down everything you will need and pack your bags accordingly.

3. Sturdy Bag

Solo trips also mean that you have to lug your bags around by yourself. And to ensure that you don’t struggle during your trip, pick your bag wisely before packing for the trip. If you are going for a short trip, it’s ideal for you to take a backpack. So choose a good quality sturdy backpack so that you don’t struggle much while travelling.

4. Snacks & Water

Carry some healthy snacks, ready-to-eat meals, and a water bottle with you always. Be it travelling at night or going on a hike, make sure that you have these things with you. When you travel solo, you have to take care of yourself well. So don’t compromise on these things.

5. Photocopies Of Your Important Documents

This is important for domestic and international trips. From your passports to photographs and id proofs, ensure that you have photocopies kept in a separate bag. So, in any case, if your originals go missing, you at least have photocopies with you.
