Many residents, understandably shaken, received the care and reassurance they needed in those anxious hours.
Helping Residents Rebuild After The Shock
Losing your home, even for a short while is deeply unsettling. The authorities understood this. The building’s developer was informed to secure temporary housing for those displaced due to this fire. No one was left stranded in this difficult situation. Due to this incident, there was a disruption beyond the building. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) had to temporarily suspend the services between Dubai Marina Station and Palm Jumeirah Station. The actions were to allow emergency teams to work safely on the site of the incident. But, buses were quickly provided for commuters to transport.
