How many times have you left your phone, wallet, or anything else at the counter of a store? Innumerable times, right? Most of the time, it hits us immediately, and we rush back to get it. However, sometimes it takes a little longer to realise we forgot something. Is all hope lost by then? Probably. But this man who forgot his wallet had a completely opposite experience when a Bengaluru cafe returned his wallet.

This Is How Bengaluru Cafe Returned Lost Wallet To The Man

Twitter user Rohit Ghumare took to Twitter to share his bizarre yet amazing experience. He tweeted about mistakenly losing his wallet the previous day. The wallet was filled with all his credit and debit cards and some important documents. He was obviously panicking and had no clue about how to retrieve it, but this did not go on for long. Here’s the tweet he posted:

Rohit got a call from the cafe he visited on the day he lost the wallet, informing him that he left his wallet there. What a big relief that must have been! The question remains: how did they know how to contact Rohit? Clarifying that in his tweet, he wrote that the cafe went the extra mile and Googled his name in search of any way to contact him. He declared this a “Peak Bengaluru moment”, and we couldn’t agree more.
