You either love mathematics or despise it. Aaditya Thackeray, the President of Mumbai’s Yuva Sena, belongs to the latter section and revealed this to our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, on one of the episodes of Sunday Brunch. Readers who hate maths will relate to him.
Aaditya Thackeray Told Us That He Hates Maths
We relished a hearty meal with Aaditya, one of the youngest political leaders of Maharashtra, and talked endlessly about his childhood and college days, food and so much more. Kamiya highlighted how he comes from a political background with Bal Thackeray as his grandfather. She was curious to know more about his school days and whether he needed any special security forces alongside him.
He answered, “I think I only needed security from my Math teacher because I was really bad at math!” This response made Kamiya erupt with laughter. He continued that he loathed maths back then and even now. We are sure many Curly Tales readers are like, “Same, Aaditya, same!”

He Couldn’t Stop Raving About His School
Coming back to whether Aaditya needed any kind of security on school premises, our guest briefed us that he had a rather regular childhood just like any other student in Bombay Scottish School, Mahim. On top of that, the talked about how the school’s culture and working environment kept him grounded and pushed him to touch new heights.
Whether it was for football, cricket or public speaking, the wonderful teachers of Bombay Scottish School wanted the best for him. He recalled an incident when the principal of his school encouraged him to go on the stage and not be afraid of public speaking. Glad to say the principal unlocked something great in him!
Next, he shared his experience of shifting from a school steeped in heritage to a modern environment with teachers from all over the world. After Bombay Scottish School, he pursued the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School and it was a different yet nice experience for him.
