Aaditya Thackeray Shares How He Takes Care Of His Mental Health & Stays Calm

One of the youngest, charming and handsome politicians of Mumbai and the leader of Yuva Sena, Aaditya Thackeray, joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, for this episode of Sunday Brunch. Being a politician is stressful with the infinite number of work, conferences,  campaigns, constant trolling, and a lot more. On that note, our politician guest talked about how he curbs stress and takes care of his mental health in this episode.

This Is How Aaditya Thackeray Takes Care Of His Mental Health

Kamiya mentioned that Aaditya is a representation of a millennial for a lot of corporate folks in our country. She asked him about how he takes care of his mental health and what are his tips for staying calm during stressful times. He said that it is always a good idea to not pay attention to the situation or the stressful thing at all.

Aaditya learnt this crucial lesson from his father, Uddhav Thackeray, who is calm during all situations. He said, “I have seen him in the best of victories and the worst of defeats and he is always himself. He will never have an extreme reaction to both.”

It is because of this stability the behaviour of other members around him is not disturbed. He told us that he considers this learning to be beneficial and tries to be relaxed during stressful situations. This is one small step that he takes to look after his mental health and be calm all the time.

Continuing on the topic, Aaditya told us that he believes it is much easier to keep a balance among emotions whether you win or lose in competition. The emotions of winning and losing are vastly different especially when it comes to Indian politics. Lastly, he said, “Agar baazigar banna hai toh dono ko balance karna padega,” which made Kamiya laugh out loud.
