AB de Villiers Loves Indulging In Outdoor Activities With His Kids In The Garden

For one of our Sunday Brunch episodes, AB de Villiers, a renowned South African cricketer, joined Mashable India’s Siddhaarth Aalambayan in Mumbai. They talked about cricket, food and more while relishing a delectable spread at The Sassy Spoon. AB de Villiers Is Outdoorsy With His Kids When It Comes To Playing

Did you know de Villiers proposed to his then-girlfriend-now-wife, Danielle, at the Taj Mahal in 2012? Yes, that is correct! They have been happily married ever since. They have three adorable kids together; two boys, Abraham de Villiers and John Richard de Villiers and a daughter, Yente de Villiers.

While discussing AB de Villiers’s personal life, we asked the cricketer about his downtime at home with the kids. He replied, “We are outdoors people. We love playing cricket and football and all sorts of games in the garden. I’m lucky to have a big garden, so there is lots of space.”

He spoke about how there is much room to run around in the backyard, engage in some games and have fun with his kids. Along with that, he also has a massive swimming pool as his kids love to swim and wind down for the day. Lastly, he revealed that two dogs are an addition to their wholesome family and they couldn’t be happier.

AB de Villiers told us that he adores cooking and often showcases his culinary skills at his home. However, he mentioned that his wife enjoys his cooks whereas his kids do not so much. He chuckled and said, “My kids don’t enjoy my cooking. They are still very young, so their tastebuds haven’t really developed yet but they will get there.”

We don’t know if de Villiers was covering for his cooking skills or if his kids truly haven’t acquired a taste for his cooking! We might have to connect with Danielle to learn the truth. Or if our guest cooks something for Curly Tales; there is always a next time!
