UAE vaccinations are now open for all the citizens, and that too for free. And to ensure that everyone gets a jab of the covid-19 vaccine, Abu Dhabi malls have set up vaccine booths. There are Covid-19 vaccination booths at The Galleria Mall, Al Maryah Island. They are now open to all residents wanting to take the jab.
The Vaccine Booth At The Galleria Mall Is Open From Sunday To Thursday- 10 Am to 7 Pm
Speaking about this initiative, the Galleria Al Maryah Island management said the opening up of the vaccination booth is part of their dedication to providing a safe environment for the community. The booth is open to the public from Sunday to Thursday, from 10 am to 7 pm.
The booth administers the UAE government approved Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine free of cost. Well, there’s also a PCR testing operated by Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Centre (ADSCC) which, opened late in 2020. On this, the officials said in a statement,
“This announcement reinforces The Galleria’s commitment to health and safety by making critical services accessible to the community.”
Citizens Need Present Valid Emirates ID And Have The Al Hosn App On Their Phones
Well, if you are considering to visit for taking a jab, you must know that the centre operates on an appointment-only basis to ensure social distancing. For the appointments, they can be made by emailing: mcv@telemed.ae. Before confirming the appointment, there will be a survey that one needs to be a part of. And for the second shot, one can book the second appointment on-site after receiving the first jab.
Officials said the new vaccine centre is currently open to UAE citizens and residents 16 years of age or older. Patients must present a valid Emirates ID and have the AlHosn app downloaded on their mobiles.
