Recently, Mubadala announced that they have finally broken ground on what’s expected to be the most striking landmarks in Abu Dhabi. With the construction for Al Maryah Waterfront Enhancement Project taking shape, one cannot deny it will be a bold new addition. And recently, it was unveiled that you can expect some exciting additions like AI-powered fountain and a glowing sphere in the centre of it. Here’s all you need to know about this development.

Al Maryah Waterfront Enhancement Project

Mubadala recently announced that they have officially launched the Al Maryah Waterfront Enhancement Project. Now, with the construction, it’s worth mentioning that a glowing 30 m sphere will also be coming up at the location. In fact, it doesn’t end there, you can also expect 1000 AI-powered water jets and a soundtrack by the Game of Thrones composer, Ramin Djawadi, as well. This is going to be designed by the premier water design firm in the world, WET.

More About The Newly Revamped Space

Not just these fantastic additions, but you can also expect shaded outdoor areas, vibrant food and beverage zones, and waterfront access that will make for an excellent arena where people can spend their time. Truly creating an exciting new space, it is bound to enhance the quality of life, and it will support Abu Dhabi’s vision as well.

Coming back to the sphere, which is gaining a lot of attention, it is going to be sitting dramatically in the bay, it would be surrounded by the water shooting about 75 m into the sky. The dancing water jets will respond to the music and light. All of this will be powered by AI, creating a sight for sore eyes.

Although the opening date for the newly revamped Al Maryah Waterfront has yet to be announced. It is expected to happen soon. And once this is done, visitors will truly be in for a spectacle, one that they would want to capture behind their camera lens.
