Now, it was recently revealed that it has added Milan to its network. Yes, the airline plans to expand its network with the first long-haul route that will connect Abu Dhabi to Milan in 2025.

Starting from June 2, 2025, Wizz Air will commence daily flights to Milan from Abu Dhabi. Yes, the airline is expanding its network with its first long-haul route. Yes, this will be connecting the emirate to this fashion capital in Italy. As it happens, They will be using the brand-new Airbus A3201XLR aircraft to offer stellar services to the flyers. Yes, as a result, a new error of ultra-low air travel on long-haul routes is now being unlocked. For those who weren’t aware, tickets are already on sale on the Wizz Air website and their official app and they start for as low as AED429.

If you are unaware, this route is the first of the many offerings that will be using the Airbus A321XLRs. This is the most cost-efficient aircraft of its class and has enhanced range capability that will connect Abu Dhabi to new and exciting destinations. Yes, the announcement also aims to operate the Airbus A321XLR from the Zayed International Airport. This also reaffirms their commitment to connecting cultures and continents. As revealed by Nathalie Jongma, who is the Vice President of Aviation Development at Abu Dhabi Airport, the use of this new aircraft on the route is quite amazing. It offers longer direct flights on narrowbody aircraft and underscores the airline’s commitment towards offering travellers a diverse range of destinations.
