Abu Dhabi has recently ushered in a groundbreaking Automated Rapid Transit (ART) service. This service boasts air-conditioned electric vehicles with three carriages. The source of trackless trams initially graced Yas Island and Saadiyat Island before extending their reach to the city itself.
The service operates a route connecting Reem Mall and Marina Mall via Zayed the First Street, with services available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This environmentally conscious, emission-free mode of transport has the capacity to accommodate up to 200 passengers.
These innovative trams make scheduled stops at prominent locations such as the Galleria Al Maryah Island, Marina Square, Sheikh Hazza Bin Sultan Mosque, the iconic Qasr Al Hosn, Khalidiya Park, the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre, Sheikha Fatima Park, Corniche, esteemed medical facilities like NMC Specialty and LLH, and prestigious hotels like City Seasons Al Hamra, Sheraton Al Khalidiya, and Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi.

Distinctive Features Of This New Mode Of Transport
Inside these trackless trams, passengers will find a seating arrangement reminiscent of the luxurious Dubai Metro. Plush seats, standing passenger straps, panoramic windows, and digital stop notifications ensure a comfortable and informed journey.
Commuters can effortlessly access essential information about the ART service by scanning the QR code displayed on the ART vehicles or at select bus stops. This provides valuable insights into service details, timings, and new destinations, ensuring a hassle-free travel experience.
