Standard Set For Health Lunch Boxes

As it happens, schools also have outlined standards for healthy lunch boxes. Non-reactive containers that have separate compartments are recommended. This allows one to keep balanced portions and also maintains the freshness of the food. A part of the push by the authorities for promoting healthy eating habits, the long-term goal is to establish patterns of good nutrition.

This development comes at a time when physicians and nutrition experts have pointed out how 44% of the students regularly bring unhealthy items in their lunch boxes. Such trends are increasing the obesity rates and cases of diabetes amongst school children
