Ajman Is The Safest City For Residents; Here’s Where Other UAE Cities Stand!

According to the Numbeo mid-year 2026 report, Ajman has been ranked as the world’s safest city for residents’ sense of security. However, other emirates of the UAE have also ranked amongst the top. This highlights the UAE’s strong performance in terms of global safety rankings. Here’s where other Emirates stand.

Ajman Tops The Numbeo Mid-Year 2026 Report

Ajman is followed by Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah. While the emirate is ranked at the sixth position. These rankings highlight how the integrated security system in Ajman combines advanced policing, community engagement and rapid emergency response.

How Does The Emirate Rank At The Top?

As a result, it enhances public safety and the quality of life. Not only this, but these rankings, as revealed by Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, who is Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, is supported by several security initiatives. From tourist patrol and Aman Patrol to anti-crime and anti-drug operations and more. As a result, community policing initiatives have also played an important role in strengthening the trust of the public through the innovative programmes.

A Look Into Country-Wise Rankings

Coming to other GCC cities, Doha which is the capital of Qatar, has ranked in fifth place, and Muscat in Oman ranks at the eighth spot. Other cities in GCC countries have also made it to the list. Riyadh in Saudi Arabia ranks at the 32 spot, and Jeddah is at the 36th rank. So, with the top 50 spots featuring cities from GCC countries, it shows how these countries have managed to create a sense of security amongst the residents.

Country-wise ranking shows that the United Arab Emirates is at the second spot with a score of 86.4. Here’s a look at the top 10 countries in terms of the mid-year report
