BAPS Hindu Mandir, which is in Abu Dhabi, is the first traditional pink sandstone Hindu temple in the region. And on February 14th, Saturday, it will mark its second anniversary. Complete with a series of prayers, rituals, and community-focused programmes, here’s all you need to know about the anniversary celebrations.

BAPS Hindu Mandir Celebrates 2 Years

As revealed in a report of the Gulf News, the celebrations at the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi would include special religious ceremonies and prayers. This will be for global well-being, which echoes the temple’s role as a spiritual oasis of global harmony. Highlighting the day would be the main event, which is called ‘Talks At 2’. A specifically joyous moment, the temple has made several meaningful milestones, which add to its celebrations.

Pre-Registeration Is Mandatory

Marking two years since its inauguration, the main anniversary event will be inaugurated by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, who is the Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence. It will be done alongside Swami Brahmaviharidas, head of the BAPS Hindu Mandir. Leaders, community representatives, dignitaries, and devotees are also expected to be in attendance for the celebrations. However, it’s worth mentioning that attendees who want to visit the celebrations will have to make a registration online. Yes, pre-registration has been made mandatory for entry.

Why Visit The Beautiful Temple?

Located in Abu Dhabi, this is a beautiful temple. Visitors are required to dress up respectfully in their choice of clothing. As it happens, when can use their mobile devices for photography and filming for personal and non-commercial use only. The beautiful temple is closed on every Monday and is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 AM to 8 PM. An oasis of harmony, it attracts people for the serene surroundings and beautiful design, which absolutely makes it worth a visit.
