Weather Warnings Intensify Across The UAE
The guidelines arrive as the National Centre of Meteorology forecasts a mix of rainfall, dust storms, and shifting winds. The reason? Authorities are signalling it’s due to a deep low-pressure system moving across the Arabian Peninsula.
According to NCM, the system starts affecting western regions before reaching Abu Dhabi by late Thursday night. Dubai, the northern regions, Al Ain, and the eastern parts of the UAE are expected to feel the effects by Friday. So plan your outdoor activities keeping this in mind.
Sheikh Hamdan Urges Residents To Stay Ready
Adding to the caution, Sheikh Hamdan, Dubai’s Crown Prince, shared a weather alert on Instagram, posting visuals of heavy rain clouds and weather maps tracking their movement. His message basically is about requesting residents to be alert and ready for the upcoming rainy days.
Dubai Police and other authorities have also issued driver warnings, urging motorists to slow down, maintain distance, and avoid flooded roads.
Rain in the UAE can be unpredictable, and following these guidelines now could prevent bigger problems later.
