Actor Himansh Kohli Purchases 2 Flight Tickets To Minimize Contact

Two months after the halt of domestic flights due to the coronavirus pandemic, the services resumed on May 25. Bollywood actor Himansh Kohli recently flew from Mumbai to New Delhi, to be with his family. He was one of the first celebrities to travel during this pandemic. The actor of Bollywood movie Yaariyan fame, purchased 2 domestic plane tickets to minimize contact with anyone while travelling.

Himanshu Kohli Books 2 Domestic Flight Tickets For Safety

In an interview with SpotBoye, Himansh Kohli revealed his travel details during this pandemic. The actor travelled to New Delhi from Mumbai after the restrictions of domestic flights were finally lifted on Monday. He mentioned he bought two tickets for himself to minimize contact with anyone during his flight journey. One of the first few celebrities to travel during this time, Himanshu revealed he was stuck in Mumbai ever since the nationwide lockdown was announced.

Even though Himanshu wished to go back home, he couldn’t. The actor planned to travel visa road but wasn’t sure about the situation on the highway. Once he came to know that domestic flights were set to resume, he decided to wait. And the minute he got the notification that flight bookings were open, he immediately booked his tickets. Himanshu added that he was nervous about his flight getting cancelled but he, fortunately, reached home safe and sound.

2 Flight Tickets Might Seem Wasteful But He Claims He Did It For Safety

The actor states that while the two tickets might seem wasteful, he booked them to ensure his safety. He revealed the in-flight situation during his journey. He informs that once inside the plane everything was taken care of like before. But there was no food provided, just a bottle of water. And while lavatories were accessible, passengers were advised against using the. Himanshu Kohli booked two seats for himself, the middle and the window seats, to minimize contact with anyone. He added that he felt lucky and fortune to reach Delhi safely. The actor’s father came to pick him up. However, he admits that there were no hugs at the airport or at home. Once he sat in the car, he sanitized his hands. And the minute he reached home his family told him to go an take a shower first. Himanshu adds that his parents are very happy to see him.
