Mimi Chakraborty, the famous Bengali actress and politician was recently travelling on an Emirates flight. She expected that things would go smoothly on the flight. However, things took a bad turn when she found out that there was a hair in her in-flight meal provided by the flight. She then lodged a formal complaint about the incident but the airline’s response, according to the actor and politician, was lukewarm at best.
Mimi Chakraborty Finds A Hair In Her In-Flight Meal
When the famous Bengali actress and Lok Sabha member Mimi Chakraborty entered her emirates flight, she expected things to go as usual. However, things didn’t go as planned. She received a nasty shock when her in-flight meal was served to her.
To her dismay and disgust, she found a hair in her croissant. When she tried to file a formal complaint about the incident with the airline, it initially fell on unresponsive ears. The airlines paid no heed to her complaint. Frustrated, she took to Twitter and ranted about the incident and the airline’s callousness.
It seems that the lack of response from the airline was further irking the politician. In her Twitter post, she mentioned how the airlines did not find it necessary to even respond, let alone apologise for the situation. She also mentioned that she has sent them an email, should they care enough to look into the matter.

Airline’s Responds Amid Twitter Backlash
The airline evidently received a lot of backlash after the actor and politician’s Twitter post. They responded to her tweet by saying that they were sorry to hear what had happened. They also linked the feedback form in their tweet and asked her to fill it out.
They also said that on filling out the feedback form, someone from the customer relations team will contact her via email. This response came after the airlines received criticism for not heeding the actor’s initial complaints.
