Marathon Will Take Up The Abu Dhabi Roads Towards A Jam

ADNOC Marathon returns to the streets of Abu Dhabi, where some of the best long-distance competitors in the world will compete in one of the quickest events on the calendar.

The race will take up about 42 km of stretch in the region, commencing and concluding at the ADNOC HQ building at the west end of Corniche road. This prompts the confirmation of temporary road closures in Abu Dhabi.

From midnight until one o’clock on 17th December 2022 Saturday, there will be a brief closure. On the majority of routes, there are detours accessible, however, the Abu Dhabi Integrated Transport Centre has asked drivers to drive carefully and abide by the law.

The streets involve Corniche, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Zayed Sports City, Qasr Al Hosn & the World Trade Centre building.

So if your daily commute involves crossing these streets then plan up and seek alternative routes to save yourself from getting stuck or re-routing at the 11th hr.
