Billy McFarland told Savannah Sellers of NBC News in September 2024 that the notorious Fyre Festival would be making a comeback in 2025. Tickets for Fyre Festival 2 will be available starting February 24, ranging from $1,400 to $1.1 million(approximately ₹1,22,000 to ₹8,71,57,500). The festival will be held from the 30th of May.
When & Where Is Fyre Festival 2?
After promising a lavish music festival experience, the original event was tainted by controversy when participants discovered subpar accommodations and no concerts at all. According to NBC, McFarland was given a six-year jail sentence after entering a guilty plea to wire fraud charges connected to the unsuccessful festival in 2018.
The Fyre Festival 2, which survived a one-month postponement after its initial run in 2017, will take place from May 30 to June 2. They simply needed the extra month to allow their partners time to prepare everything, McFarland told Today.
The Bahamas island of Great Exuma served as the site of the first event; however, this year, Isla Mujeres has been chosen. According to McFarland, a fantastic production team has been hired to handle everything, from nuts to soup. The business will take care of all event logistics. The private island is being developed and expanded for the real festival celebrations, McFarland added.

There will be 2,000 tickets available for the Fyre Festival 2, and the sale will start on February 24. These tickets will cost anywhere from $1,400 to $1.1 million (approximately ₹1,22,000 to ₹8,71,57,500). Attendees can also enjoy yacht accommodations and access to the artists performing at the event, McFarland added. But as of yet, no festival artist has been announced. The festival’s founder has disclosed that he has already sold 100 tickets for $500 (approximately ₹43,579) apiece. Additionally, he disclosed that customers will be on a boat and on the opulent yachts they partner with for the $1.1 million package. They will be moored outside the island after being docked.
Furthermore, he reiterated that Fyre is more than just this opulent experience. The adventure is what matters. Ticketholders will be scuba diving with him. According to him, people would also be flying on little planes to other islands and other nations.
