Indians account for some of the largest groups of travellers to the UAE. Keeping this traffic in mind, IndiGo has been launching several flights from different cities of the country. And Madurai is the latest addition to the list. Yes, IndiGo recently announced that it will be launching flights from Madurai to Abu Dhabi from June, and we are here with the details.
IndiGo Announces Madurai Abu Dhabi Flights
From June 13 onwards, direct flights will be launched between Madurai and Abu Dhabi by IndiGo. This budget carrier added Madurai as the 16th Indian city, which will be directly connected to Abu Dhabi. This development comes after the airline previously announced direct flights from Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam to the UAE. Returning to the Madurai flights, they will be operational thrice in a week.
This Will Be A Direct Flight
Offering more travel options to the people, international travel becomes easier with IndiGo as it presents itself as a more affordable option to the people. So, as this airline links a smaller city like Madurai to a major global hub, it certainly opens new avenues of opportunities. These direct flights are bound to help businesses in sending their farm products and even textiles to the UAE capital. While coming to travellers, these direct flights mean no more taking connecting flights, thereby drastically reducing the travel time.

Not The Only Direct Flight Announced By The Airline Recently
In fact, it was just the previous week when IndiGo announced that it would launch direct flights between Fujairah and Mumbai and Fujairah and Kannur. With a lot of these new routes, flying to different economic hubs of the UAE from smaller cities certainly becomes a lot easier.
