Emirates announced that it will be operating limited number of inbound flights to Dubai from various destinations. As of now, Emirates announced it will operate return flights from London Heathrow and Frankfurt. The list of countries however, is being updated continuously.
Passengers who wish to book a ticket must first fill out the Twajudi form to apply for approval. Once the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MOFAIC), approved your application, you will be provided a ICA number with which you can book an Emirates ticket. Residents should not try to book a flight before obtaining this number. All passengers must also hold a valid UAE residency visa.
In addition, Emirates also announced that passengers who arrive in Dubai must follow stringent restrictions. All passengers will go through a mandatory DHA test, a 14-day quarantine and a follow up test before release. Emirates recently brought back a group of students from London who were stranded there following flight cancellations while their parents are living and working here in the UAE.
However, Emirates is yet to make any formal announcement on the same.
Meanwhile, Etihad on Friday announced that it had opened booking for the UAE residents who are stuck abroad and want to return to the country.
