Louis Vuitton’s S/S 2026 collection is making headlines in the fashion world with its gem-encrusted and nature-themed motif bags. However, it was their Rickshaw Bag that caught the attention of Indians. The luxury brand launched a bag that looks like the good ol’ rickshaw and comes complete with its signature monogram.
Louis Vuitton Grabs Attention With Its Rickshaw Bag
After Prada left Indians flabbergasted with its Kolhapuri chappal-inspired footwear during the Spring/Summer 2026 show in Milan, yet another designer brand is here to amaze the desis! Louis Vuitton has launched Rickshaw Bag, inspired by the trusted mode of transportation of millions of Indians.
In the past, Louis Vuitton has launched bags with silhouettes that resemble planes, dolphins and lobsters. For its S/S 2026 collection, the brand chose to make a bag in the shape of a rickshaw and added its signature monogrammed detailing as well.
The bag has three wheels and a transparent windshield–making it a miniature version of the popular Indian public transport. It is to be noted that the bag wasn’t the only thing that grabbed the attention of Indian fashion lovers. Louis Vuitton also showcased tong-style footwear, something we bet you have seen many people wear around you.

Netizens Have Questions About The Uniquely Shaped Bag
While many netizens love the fun silhouette of Louis Vuitton’s Rickshaw Bag, others have many questions. They questioned the sudden rise of Indian influence in Western designers’ collections and what triggered this interest. Some are simply waiting for the price reveal of the bag, although they know it’s going to be jaw-droppingly high!
A netizen asked, “Why is the West suddenly obsessed with Asia? Yesterday I saw Prada showing the Kolhapuri chappal, now the LV Rickshaw bag!”
Another one wondered, “My real question is, is an auto more expensive than this bag?”
Describing the bag, one user said, “Middle-class strugle is high-class couture.”
One of them couldn’t help but ask, “Honestly, who is buying this?”
