Ahead of the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the prime minister of the country, Narendra Modi, is all set to get a dedicated section in the famous Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya. It was previously known as the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library or the NMML. The Narendra Modi Gallery will showcase the initiatives and development projects undertaken in the last nine years. Here are all of the important details that you would need to know about this section.

Narendra Modi Gallery To Be Unveiled At Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya

According to an article which was recently published by The Indian Express, this new section of the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya will open to the public in the second week of January. The article also mentioned that it took around one year for the gallery to be completed.

It will be located on the ground floor of the museum after the gallery dedicated to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The section dedicated to the current PM will be divided into multiple parts. Some will be dedicated to his early and personal life and others will be sorted by the type of initiatives taken.

What is more, the gallery was initially supposed to highlight events up until December 2022. But as it turns out, some events until August 2023 have also been covered in the gallery.

Will Highlight Initiatives And Development Projects

Every prime minister gets a section dedicated to them at the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya or the Prime Ministers’ Museum and Library in New Delhi. PM Modi’s section will be unveiled soon.

It will highlight cultural initiatives like the Ram Mandir inauguration and the restoration of other temples. It will also highlight various, environmental and infrastructural as well as defence initiatives taken in the last nine years.
