Bangalore-Based CEO Compares Bangalore With Ahmedabad

We have seen people arguing online and comparing Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. But it seems like another city has entered this never-ending debate now. Siddharth Dialani, a Bangalore-based entrepreneur, recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to compare Ahmedabad and Bangalore. Comparing road quality, footpaths, and traffic management between the two cities, he said, “Bangalore is in shambles :(“

He said, in Ahmedabad, “every traffic signal has a working timer with bright lights” and even these “basic things” are missing in almost all signals of Bangalore. He further mentioned, “Bangalore is so dusty that signal lights are not even visible.”

Siddharth then compared the roads in the two cities. According to his tweet, roads in Ahmedabad are “so wide and lane markings are quite prominent” and there were hardly any potholes there. As for Bangalore roads, he felt that “Indian road quality is going down.”

Finally, he mentioned that Ahmedabad is quite well lit and the “city looks bright and happening.” He felt that this can directly affect the mood of the population as people are generally happy and smiling in the city. As for Bangalore, he said, “Even basic street lights don’t work.”
