Air Arabia is undoubtedly the largest low-cost airline operator in the Middle East and North Africa region. And it has now commenced its first non-stop flight from Ras Al Khaimah in UAE to Kozhikode in the state of Kerala in India. Before the beginning of the inaugural flight, a ceremony had taken place at the Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, which was attended by several key dignitaries. Yes, H.E. Engr. Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation, Ras Al Khaimah followed by several other important members were participants in the ceremony.
Air Arabia Begins Direct Flights Between Ras Al Khaimah & Kozhikode
It’s worth noting that the flights, which recently began will be connecting Ras Al Khaimah International Airport to the Kozhikode International Airport with three weekly flights. Flight Number G9 728 and G9 729 will be operating on Airbus A320 with the flights departing from Ras Al Khaimah at 2:55 PM and will be reaching Kozhikode at 8:10 PM. While the flights departing from Kozhikode at 8:50 PM to Ras Al Khaimah will be reaching at 11:25 PM. It’s worth noting that customers can already book their flights between the two cities by visiting Air Arabia’s website or by calling the call centres and travel agencies.
The Flights Began On Wednesday, November 22
In case you’re wondering, the flights began on Wednesday, November 22, and the development comes after Air Arabia began its operations in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in May 2014. Kozhikode
