1. Air Arabia Introduces Home Check-In Service In Abu Dhabi
It was recently revealed that Air Arabia is now going to offer home check-in services to its passengers in Abu Dhabi. Yes, they have partnered with Morafiq to launch this new service. Moreover, it’s for the convenience of checking in their luggage and collecting their boarding passes from their homes. Not to mention, it will significantly enhance the travel experience by saving time and reducing wait times at the airport.
2. Saudi Arabia MOC Hosts Creative Cities Exhibition
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culinary Arts Commission hosted a Creative Cities Exhibition. This was done at the Dates Carnival in Buraydah, which concluded quite recently. With the participation of more than 25 cities from the fellow UNESCO Creative Cities Network, it was truly a gourmand’s paradise.
3. MOI Qatar Announces Road Closure
The Ministry of Interior of Qatar recently revealed that there will be a temporary traffic closure on the service road from Al Khor Coastal Road towards Doha at the Semaisma Intersection. As it happens, this will continue until Sunday, September 22, 2024, and there will be complete traffic closure on Street No. (130) from Al Tarfa Street. It will be for those heading north to Darb Lusail Street and those moving from Darb Lusail Street south to Street (131). Yes, and this will continue until October 1, 2024!
4. Aviation Future Week To Happen In Dubai
Recently Emirates and the Museum of the Future will host the first Aviation Future Week. It will be taking place from October 15 to 17 2024 in Dubai. In fact, the UAE ministers, senior government officials, and industry leaders from across the Maintenance, Overhaul & Repair, aviation and aerospace, airfreight, and logistics ecosystem, will be converging in the emirate for the inaugural event.
5. Limited Edition LEGO Passports
The Dubai International Airport or DXB recently took to its X account (formerly Twitter) to reveal that passengers can now grab LEGO passports at Terminal 3 for free. They can also collect unique stamps from the stores around the world. So, the next time you travel from Dubai, don’t forget to get yours from near Gate B25. This is only available until stocks last!
